I enjoy using a COMPAQ Tablet PC in dual monitor mode. Sometimes the software can get in a mode where it is attempting to display a modal dialog, but the dialog, in effect, ends up going nowhere - it can't be seen on either monitor. This hangs the software - in some cases (Visio) you have the reinstall the software for it to work properly again. Switching back to single monitor doiesn't seem to help either, and the problem will persist from invocation to invocation. It occours to me that there may be a bug in the driver - I have installed the most recent version, but this doesn't seem to help. I'm hoping that somebody else out there has experienced this too, and maybe has a remedy.

I am having a simlar issue. Toshiba tablet PC 2 gigs of ram hangs when I launch visio. Please let me know if you find a cure. |
