Has anyone sued the Xotic Tablet PC? If so, what the upside and downside of this machine. |

I bought the XOtic Tablet PC, it doesnt come with windows tablet edition, but it does come with rite pen which is an awesome program. you can wirte anywhere in the screen not just in the box provided by windows tablet edition. It has great writing recognition even though i have sloppy writing.
1.5 ghz
1024 ram
64 mb of shared memory
External Dvd drive
15 inch screen

So you're basically saying that it's a regular laptop with a flip over screen and a writing pen instead of a graphic tablet screen then? why not just get a cheap laptop and use a logitech pen? |

I will NEVER buy from xotic pc again. They stiffed me for 300 bucks. I purchased a laptop with their extended 3 year warranty. The laptop crapped out after less than two weeks of use. When I called them they had no record of the warranty. The salesman (Justin) refused to go back and check to see what I purchased or to verify that their accounting system didn't mess up. He accused me of lying and trying to get freebies from him. His only consolation was to call the manufacturer and agree to pay the return shipment on the repair order. Of course, he didn't do this.
This was the worst internet transaction I've had in a year.

I purchased one of these Tablets from Xotic in June 2004. It doesnt give you all of the same features a regular tablet would offer, but it works great for what i do. The touch screen is very nice. I dealt with Jason over there and he rocks! This is by far the best laptop i have ever owned.
I had one problem arise about 2 months ago, the unit was out of Warranty but Jason hooked me up! What a great company. I will buy from them again!

I have purchased a tablet XP about 2 years ago from xotic pc, it has been a great machine. xotic pc has provided great customer service and quick delivery. i use my tablet every day. |

I didnt purchase any additional warranty from them and had to send it in after 11 months of use. I had to pay to ship it in and they paid the expense to ship it back to me. The repair was quick (2 days) and immeidatley shipped it out to me. |

xotic pc has provided one of the best laptops i have ever owned. I am in auto cad and usually all of my classmates can not load the auto cad as fast as i can. Everybody loves my xotic pc laptop. i highly recommend xotic pc |
