Do you know if there is any solution available to enable usage of pen interface in applications/games using directinput-interface?

I have created directinput proxy which changes pen-coordinates from relative to sort-of-absolute, but it requires tuning for each application/game obviously.

I have it working 100% for Capitalism 2 (old DirectInput game). I am wondering whether I should improve my DirectInput proxy to support other games too (like old popular RTS games) or if there is already a better solution available?
